Gloria’s "Only Fruit" Spreads are sweetened with pure white grape juice concentrate or fructose and are slowly simmered in very small batches. There is no refined sugar in these products to mask the real freshness of the fruit. Our Conserves and Marmalades, listed at the botton of the page, do have sugar added. Gloria's Spreads

Oregon Strawberry [10 oz. $6.00]

With our cool nights and warm spring rains, the strawberry fields of the Willamette Valley produce some of the sweetest berries found anywhere. Delicious as a quick topping for strawberry shortcake and I love it as a quick breakfast with peanut butter on whole wheat toast.

Willamette Red Raspberry [11oz. $6.00]

Friends of mine grow the sweetest raspberries this side of Heaven. (I’m sure there must be raspberries in Heaven). This product has a jewel-like color and the flavor of fresh picked raspberries. One customer warms the spread and uses it on French toast.

Mountain Blueberry [11oz. $6.00]

It’s busy-bee time when our friends, the McKnights, bring in the many buckets of freshly picked blueberries. This luscious fruit becomes a wonderful spread and a great topping for fluffy buttermilk pancakes, or a warm sauce on homemade peach ice cream.

Mt.Hood Marionberry [12.4 oz. $6.00]

These native Oregon berries grow in the shadow of the Cascade Mountain Range and are slowly cooked into one of our most popular spreads. I use it mixed with fresh berries in a cobbler, without any additional sweetener and it makes a delightful variation on a classic Linzertorte.

This spread was one of five finalists at the International Fancy Food Show, 1997 in New York City!! An exquisite medley of exotic flavors - a perfect spread for a slice of warm homemade bread.

Sunnyside Tart Cherry [12 oz. $6.00]

Most of the Montmorency cherries grow in the orchards around the Dalles above the mighty Columbia River. With just a hint of almond, this spread turns crisp waffles into a real treat. Many of our customers purchase this spread by the case - they just don’t want to run out.

Hood Meadows Strawberry-Rhubarb [11 oz. $6.00]

Deep rosey-red rhubarb grows at Canby along the Willamette River and this spread will be reminiscent of old fashioned Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie. I use this as a glaze for baked ham, but I know a little boy (Matthew - my grandson) who just loves it on hot buttered biscuits.

Garden Grove Gooseberry Apricot [11 oz. $6.00]

Tart gooseberries and plump golden apricots become a fresh new flavor. Not just for bagels and cream cheese but you will find is a nice glaze for chicken breasts.

Oregon Gold Apricot Marmalade [11 oz. $6.00]

Sweet Blenheim apricot halves from Eastern Oregon, crushed Hawaiian pineapple and hand-sliced Valencia oranges are the main ingredients in this most special blend of flavors. This is one of my first creations and I know it’s one of my best and also a very popular spread. Try mixing with a tablespoon or so of onion soup mix and the same of Russian dressing and baste chicken thighs while they are baking.

Tangerine Marmalade [8 oz. $5.00]

Much more delicate than orange marmalade. I love this for a light supper on sauteed cheese blintz.

Gloria's Conserves and Marmalades with Refined Sugar

Apricot Marmalade [8 oz. $5.00]

We make this product in a 8oz. size. It is the same as the Oregon Gold except that it is sweetened with refined sugar. I especially like it on hot buttered English muffins.

Oregon Blue Blueberry Marmalade
[8 oz. $5.00] Luscious blueberries, sliced oranges and lemons are a unique combination. A friend uses it as an addition to a blueberry tart. I have mixed it with fresh blueberries in a cobbler and friends rave about it, as they do when I top servings of butter pecan ice cream with it.

Cape Ferrelo Cranberry Conserve [7 oz. $5.00]

Bright red Oregon Coast cranberries are combined with chopped oranges, raisins, walnuts and brandy for an exciting conserve. For real decadence mix in some chocolate chips and barely warm it in the microwave then top vanilla or chocolate ice cream with it. For a quick lunch, I will mix a spoonful or so into a cup of plain or vanilla yogurt.
